The following document sets forth the Privacy Policy for the RIIDE Pty Ltd (collectively ” RIIDE,” ” we,” ” us,” or ” our“). We are committed to providing you with the best possible customer service experience whilst being transparent in the way we handle your personal information.

RIIDE Pty Ltd is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles, as defined in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (the Privacy Act), which sets out a number of principles concerning the privacy of individuals.

Collection of your personal information

There are many aspects of the site which can be viewed without providing personal information, however, for access to certain features, such as registering an account or customer support, you are required to submit personally identifiable information. This may include but not limited to account information like your full name, mobile number, address and other sensitive information. For some services, in order to verify your identity and for the prevention of fraud, we require photos of your government-issued driver’s licence (both front and back) as well as a photo with you holding the card.

We use Stripe for payment, analytics, and other business services. Stripe collects identifying information about the devices that connect to its services. Stripe uses this information to operate and improve the services it provides to us, including for fraud detection. Sharing of your personal information

We may occasionally hire other companies to provide services on our behalf, including but not limited to handling customer support enquiries, processing transactions or enabling app functionality. Those companies will be permitted to obtain only the personal information they need to deliver the service. RIIDE PTY LTD takes reasonable steps to ensure that these organisations are bound by confidentiality and privacy obligations in relation to the protection of your personal information.

User information may be stored overseas in the European Union, which binds how your data is handled to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) regulations, in addition to the standards set out by the Australian Privacy Principles.

Use of your personal information

We collect your Personal Information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you, providing information to our clients and marketing. We may also use your Personal Information for secondary purposes closely related to the primary purpose, in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure. You may unsubscribe from our mailing/marketing lists at any time by contacting us in writing.

For each visitor to reach the site, we expressively collect the following non-personally identifiable information, including but not limited to browser type, version and language, operating system, pages viewed while browsing the Site, page access times and referring website address. This collected information is used both internally, and through Google, for the purpose of gauging visitor traffic, trends and delivering personalized content to you while you are at this Site.

From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. Analytics

You may be required to put your request in writing for security reasons. RIIDE PTY LTD reserves the right to charge an administrative fee for searching for, and providing access to, your information on a per request basis.
